i found the staff consistently friendly and helpful. they booked our trips to daintree and the barrier reef for us. i liked they used local companies. i also appreciated the range of items to borrow, including sun loungers and umbrellas for the beach.
the exterior lighting from the common areas was quite intrusive. it penetrated our room. this made sleep difficult due to the brightness levels persisting throughout the night.

the hotel is located very close to the beach. access to restaurants and bars takes only five minutes by foot. this made exploring very convenient.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I found this acceptable.
The room i booked, the superior studio apartment partial sea view first floor, was not what i expected. the view was obstructed, and i barely saw any ocean. It was more of a street view. also, i found a cockroach in the room. It crawled across my partner's stomach.
